Fake Nintendo Revolution VR System

Its amazing how far people these days will go to fool us people lurking on the internet hoping for leaked gaming info.

This one, I guess, has been all over the web in the past few days. IGN is hosting the video for laughs, but it has been confirmed as fake. It is a CG mock-up of the Revolution, called Nintendo On, which is a combination system and VR headset.

It seems really cool, but it would never work. You'd be confined to a real environment running around in a small area. Its also dangerous, which is the exact reason Nintendo won't do it.

The harzardous nature of having headset VR systems that don't confine you to a small, safe area is why Sega's VR concept never happened:

I hope they really do something like that. I would LMAO at all the articles of kids running into the street and getting ran over, or falling out of windows. Theres too many brats out there nowadays. Too bad they would break their Nintendo VR systems when they die though.

Maybe if it was built sturdy enough, there would be lots of good used ones on ebay.

Man, that video was awsome!!! This guy must have had alote of time on his hands, and he must work in the ad-making feild to make somthing so slick (maby several people made it). The music in it kicked ass, I wonder wwhere the second tune came from, it was pretty nice.

Pity it's not real but still bloody awesome...

It would be so kick ass if it was real, but oh well...

also on the point of kids running into buses and things like that, if you notice it was not the guy running that made the VR set run, it was only him stepping forward. So i would say that although this was a mock-up, it is not completely unfeasible.

I would love it to be real however...

that was an amazing video.. would be totally awesome if nintendo was bsing us all this time and was really selling that.. video was so well made it would have me fooled
