| The Cleveland Show |
| November 23, 2009, 5:56 PM CST by bfun | | Anyone seen this yet? I watched the Thanksgiving special and it was mildly entertaining. The only part I really laughed at was when Cleavland's Dad was fisting the turkey and Cleveland was barfing all over the table. It was so raunchy I almost couldn't believe Fox aired it. |

I don't get Seth, he made Family Guy which was great, then American Dad which sucks, you would of thought he would of learned, now this show that is even worse than American Dad.
The Quagmire show would of been much better. |

Imo, American Dad is the only one worth watching anymore. Family Guy gets more retarded with every show. American Dad is great, Roger and Stan are hilarious! The reason I love it so much is that they play the "references" right. They leave it to the imagination. If on American Dad they say a line like "It was like that time blah blah blah", they leave it at that. Of course, we all know what Family Guy does...

American Dad was aweful when it started, but now it's almost as if they made family guy worse so that it looked better. Not really though since it actually did get better and family guy just played out.
American Dad still gets me laughing. |

It is poorly written, and lacks the feel of the original. And the fact that they added another talking baby only to try and capitalize off of Stewie's popularity doesn't help either.
Family Guy is a good show overall, despite it's flaws, I've watched it since it first came out, and I plan to continue doing so for a while.
American Dad I like because I relate to Stan in more ways than I'd like. It's a good show, has clever writing, and doesn't overuse it's gags like FG and TCS do. |

I thought it was a bizarre idea, especially as Celeveland was always a bit of a dull character in Family Guy.
Have to agree about the praise for American Dad; that's really hit it's stride with the last few series. Definitely much improved over the first season which was pretty hit and miss. Family Guy seems to be a case of diminishing returns. currently it reminds me of the Simpsons when that hit a lull; when I watch an episode there's a few isolated scenes that are good but the rest feels like filler. |

I can watch any old good episode of the simpsons and still laugh. After I've seen a family guy episode it rarley makes me laugh on the third watch or so. I find American Dad mostly boring. It has it's moments but they're too few and far between for my liking. And the Cleveland Show, well. It sounded boring but turns out to be worse than that. It's like, I can't believe they did it. I think South Park is the only animated comedy to maintain a high standard of hilarity throughout it's life on the air. I think it's the only one in the big leagues that's never had a lull, or a season or two where you think they lost the magic. But maybe that's just me. |
